Congratulations Mark Flowerdew'12 on receiving funding from the Minister of Labour and Advanced Education Kelly Regan. Mark is a student at NSCC and is developing a recording studio for the MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning, which will allow existing programs for youth and community members the opportunity to write and record their own music. Mark was valedictorian of his graduating class. Read more about Mark's initiative and the funding program online.
What a great night connecting with Grammar alum at the Toronto Reception at the Podue Mahone. It was wonderful to have such a range of grad years represented, as early on as 1971. Headmaster Laffoley and Fabiola would like to thank those that were able to attend. For those that were not able to make it, we will see you next time!

2018 Marks Grammar's 60th Anniversary. Fabiola Mascaro will be reaching out to the HGS alum and other community members to gather ideas for events, as well as planning and event volunteers. If you are interested in getting involved please contact Fabiola. A more formal communication piece will be sent out later in the spring.

Class of '72 45th Reunion
Greg Crosby (Halifax), Peter Merchant (Calgary) and David Wainwright (Vancouver)
gathered in Lake Koocanusa, BC for their 45th Year Reunion. All three are HGS “Lifers” and attended all grades from Grade 2 (one of the accelerated classes) through Grade 12. Reunions are a wonderful way to reconnect with old friends and stay connected to Grammar. Thank you, Greg, Peter and David for taking the initiative to make this reunion happen!
