Dalhousie Debate Tournament and National Team Tryout

At the Dalhousie University Tournament,  Grammar's debate team of Manaal Hashmi and Nimmy Reardon-Hulme won the Jr. Division title with a 5-0 victory over Armbrae Academy in the final round. In the individual rankings, Nimmy placed 2nd and Manaal was 7th. In the Sr. division, the team of Gab Duguay and Matthew Farrell made it to the semi-finals and tied for 5th individually. 
 
At the Nova Scotia selection event, Matthew Farrell won the right to try out for the National Team later this year in Newfoundland. Each province is allowed to enter three students in the National Tryout.
