Grammar students attend the Halifax Explosion Memorial Service

On the morning of December 6, 1917, the SS Mont-Blanc, a cargo ship carrying explosives, and the SS Imo collided in the Halifax Harbour, resulting in one of the deadliest maritime disasters in history. Nearly 2,000 people were killed, and approximately 9,000 were injured. To honour the day, our M2 students visited the Halifax Explosion Memorial Service at Fort Needham Park.
