Liam Pirie (M4) brings home the gold at provincial Biathlon Championships
Congratulations to Liam Pirie (M4), for winning two gold medals at the Nova Scotia Biathlon Championships at Martock, held from January 23rd-24th. This was the second meet in the Atlantic Cup series, and Liam is now ranked number two in his age class amongst athletes from all the competing provinces. Liam had an impressive showing in the rifle component of the sprint competition, with a 90% accuracy. Liam also competed in the Eastern Canadian Nordic Championships in Ottawa from February 6th-7th, where he finished 19th for Team Nova Scotia at the Ski Skate Event.
