HGS Students and Alum Unleash the Noise

Three Halifax Grammar School students are among the 200 who have been selected to participate in the 2014 Unleash the Noise, Canada's Student-led Mental Health Innovation Summit. Over 1000 students from universities, colleges and high schools across Canada applied to be part of the summit, which enables young people to strategize around mental health in their communities. Abby Falvey S2, Sophie Poulos S2 and Erin MacNeil S3 will travel to Toronto at the end of February for the event, returning afterward with ideas and tools they will use to create change in Halifax. HGS alum are very well represented in this event, as well, with Tom Edgerton’11 co-leading the event, and Emily McBride’11 joining him on the nine-person organizing team.
