Benstead '01 O'Neill '01 Wedding
Congratulations to alumni graduates, Peter Benstead '01 and Sarah O’Neill '01! Peter and Sarah were married June 24 and made a nostalgic visit to the school along with their wedding party, which included Peter’s brother Teddy '04 and sister Caroline '06 as seen in this photo. All three Bensteads are HGS lifers.
The young couple is now living in Saskatoon. Sarah is employed with the Saskatoon Health Region, working in an adult in-patient rehab facility and Peter is working in a private audiology clinic, Expert Hearing Solutions. Peter and Sarah both did a BSc with Honours in Psychology and a Minor in Chemistry at Acadia. After graduating in May, 2006, they spent a year living abroad in Australia, also travelling to New Zealand, England, Ireland, and Scotland. Once back home, Peter was accepted into the MSc Audiology program at Dalhousie, and Sarah did her MSc in Speech-Language Pathology, also at Dalhousie.
Sarah kindly forwarded the photos with the lovely sentiment “HGS will always hold a special place in our hearts.” We wish them a long, happy life together and many more adventures.
