On January 25th, 26 students from grades 8 and 9 experienced what it means to be a world leader and change maker. Participating in the 70th Session of the Harvard Model United Nations Conference in Boston, our students represented the UAE and Azerbaijan on committees ranging from the World Trade Organization, World Conference on Women, World Health Organization, and the Human Rights Council. In a true United Nations format, they collaborated and debated with 4000 students from 41 different countries! WOW! There were tears of frustration, and there were celebrations of their motion being passed. They formed new friendships, experienced Boston city, and even got a private tour of Harvard University!
Well done, Grammarians, for representing your school with integrity and enthusiasm! You are our change makers!
