PSAT: Digital Readiness Check - Monday, September 29 at 11:30 in N300

N300
As noted in an email sent last week to test takers, remember, the following:
  • Digital Readiness Check - Monday, September 29 at 11:30 in N300
  • PSAT - Thursday, October 16 @ 3:30 - 6:30 PM
The PSAT is digital and requires students to have their own device -- Windows laptop or tablet, Mac laptop, or iPad -- for the test.  Students download the College Board's Bluebook digital testing application.

All students writing the PSAT must download the Bluebook software prior to this meeting on Monday, September 29 at 11:30 in N300.  Devon Howe, our IT Coordinator, will be on hand to support students and to run the Digital Readiness Check. During this meeting, you will complete the digital readiness check and complete the exam setup.  Additionally, I will also review the test day procedures, answer students' questions and direct them to practice tests and additional preparation materials.

To prepare for the PSAT, you should familiarize themselves with the test format by taking official practice tests on the College Board's Bluebook app (which you will have access to after this meeting). The attached PSAT Student Study guide is very helpful and you should review it as you prepare to take the PSAT.  You can also use Khan Academy's personalized resources and practice flashcards to strengthen weak areas in math and reading/writing. Kaplan's Prep for the 2025 Digital PSAT is free and also good preparation.  Creating a study schedule, focusing on weaker subjects, mastering key math formulas, and getting sufficient sleep are also crucial for success on test day.
