Grammar Volunteers at Walk of Hope
On Sunday, September 10, a group of over 50 volunteers from the Halifax Grammar School helped facilitate the 2023 Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope in Halifax.
Led by Ms. Woodford (Head of Middle School) and Mr. Bhathena (Senior School Physics Teacher), our students, faculty and staff brought sunny enthusiasm and lots of cheering to this year's Walk.
Halifax Grammar School has been involved in the Walk of Hope since 2013, when one of our students lost a family member to ovarian cancer. Since then, our students have fundraised and volunteered for the event, which has become an important part of the pillar of Altruism at Grammar.
