HGS competes at ACIS Tournament

HGS athletes competed at the Athletic Conference of Independent Schools (ACIS) Tournament, held at the Rothesay Netherwood School in Rothesay, NB, from September 22nd - 24th. Shikha Gupta (S3) shared her thoughts on her last trip to the ACIS Tournament:

"This year's ACIS Tournament was definitely a memorable one as it was the Grade Twelves last time attending. This usually would not be a big deal, but I have been looking forward to going on this trip every year since I was in Grade Seven. The Rothesay trip is a time where soccer and tennis teams travel to make Grammar proud, to highlight the great community we are, and to make memories that last a lifetime. Every year, we come back with amazing results, and this year like every other, we brought a little more passion as both soccer teams went undefeated. Rothesay is always such a welcoming school and provides us with everything we need whether it be a shelter to escape the rain, water, food, etc. It is always a pleasure to go up and eat in their cafeteria. I find that the Rothesay trip always brings people closer and allows classmates to see sides of each other that have never been seen before. I can honestly say that going away on this trip always helps me get to know people and make new friends. Rothesay is one of the best trips I have ever gone on, and I hope it continues to be a fun, and competitive weekend in years ahead. I will miss it more than ever!"
