    World Language & Culture Day

PAC will be hosting World, Language & Culture Day in the Prep School on Wednesday, March 3. It will be a virtual celebration this year.

    Ways you can contribute:
    1. Volunteer to be part of the planning committee/region (regions listed below). You will be connected with the Region Lead once you put your name forward and indicate which region you would like to volunteer for. It’s important for region heads to know that we do not expect you to cover all countries in your region. You may choose to go deep on one, but give the students a nice overview of all. As a team, you can choose the focus of your presentation: you may want to focus on food, landmarks, sport, dress, language….the choice is yours.
    2. Submit photos, videos that represent your heritage. Please ensure to indicate what country/region they will go with.
    3. Submit a recipe for a cookbook. Since we cannot include a food portion this will be a way for families to share their authentic cuisine and allow the Grammar community to try out some new recipes.
Volunteer, sending photos, and recipes to PAC@hgs.ns.ca.
