  • Senior School Coding Teacher - Part-time

    The Halifax Grammar School (Grammar) is seeking an experienced Senior School Coding Teacher for a part-time position beginning in September 2024.

    The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of differentiated instructional strategies and assessment practices. They will plan, organize and implement dynamic instructional programming in an engaging and innovative learning environment. They must have exceptional communication skills and be confident users of technology. Finally, this individual must be a collaborative educator who will contribute to co-curricular activities and be part of the Grammar school community. 

    Qualifications:
    Applicants must have a Bachelor of Education with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Math, Science, a major in Math; and a Nova Scotia Teaching license or equivalent. Teaching at the senior school level for 3 to 5 years is preferred. IB teaching experience or knowledge of the IB Diploma Program would be an asset. 

    The successful candidate will pass and maintain a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector check.
