CAIS PD 2023

On January 27, Grammar had the honour of hosting the 2023 CAIS PD. Around 170 teachers from Halifax Grammar, Armbrae Academy and Sacred Heart participated in a day centered around the Neuroscience of Learning. Leading the sessions were a host of experts in the field of Neuroscience on topics like 'Neurodiversity in the Classroom,' 'Developing Adolescent Coping Skills,' 'Rethinking Challenging Behaviours,' 'Mindfulness,' 'Supporting Students on Autism Spectrum', 'Understanding Math and Learning Difficulties, 'Inclusive Language', 'Understanding ADHD', and 'Building the Framework for Inquiry-Based Learning'.

We thank each one of our presenters for sharing their time, knowledge and expertise. The teachers left with a ton of resources and knowledge to bring into our classrooms.
