The Grammar Lemonade Project

Grammar Makes Lemonade

Inspired by the old saying “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!”, we are pleased to announce the launch of the Grammar Lemonade Project, co-chaired by PAC Chair and Prep Parent, Tracy Stuart, and Senior School Parent, Maureen Reid. The purpose of this volunteer-led initiative is to enable our school community to help each other and the broader community as we navigate this uncertain and challenging time by harnessing the power of our collective insights, creativity and compassion.

The Grammar Lemonade Project will evolve based on your input. We welcome your ideas for how Grammar can ‘make lemonade’ out of our current circumstances and would like to know the strategies that you are finding particularly helpful in managing your personal and family life at the moment. Please send them to makelemonade@hgs.ns.ca.

Sidewalk Sentiments

We’re encouraging Grammar families going for walks in their neighbourhoods to write encouraging messages in front of nursing homes, hospitals and grocery stores, or to health care workers they know. Please send photos of your sentiments to makelemonade@hgs.ns.ca and use the tags #grammarlemonadeproject and #grammarisgrateful when sharing on social media!
