Financial Information ~ Fees and Other Costs

Fees listed are for the 2010-2011 school year. Fees for the following school year are set in February and will be available in March.

DepositThe initial registration fee of $1,000 for each of the eldest two children, maximum $2,000 per family, is payable upon acceptance of the offer of admission. This is a non-refundable deposit on first term fees and applies to new and returning families. To re-enrol parents are asked to confirm registration for the following year by March 31.

Tuition Fees
Fees for the school year 2010-2011 are as follows:

Junior Primary $9,095
Senior Primary - Middle Two $11,201
Middle Three - Senior Three  $12,635
International Students $16,500

Discounts

Families are eligible for a discount for each additional child registered; 5% for the second child and 10% for the third and subsequent children.

Payment OptionsPayment by the term or month may be arranged. Payment may be made by cash or cheque; credit card and pre-authorized debit payments are accepted, with a small additional service fee charged.

Student Enrolment BondThe one-time purchase of a $3,500 non-interest bearing Enrolment Bond is a condition of attendance at the school for each of the first two children in each family. The face value of the Bond ($3,500) will be returned in full to the parents or sponsor at the time of maturity.

Additional CostsThese vary from year to year depending on the grade level and the individual needs of each student. Typical categories in annual expenditure are estimated as follows:

  • Study/Homework Diaries* $10
  • Student Directories* $10
  • Yearbook, Photos $67
  • Meal Plan, Milk Service, annual $60 and up
  • Bus Service, annual $1500- $2000(estimate)
  • Class Day trips $5 and up
  • School trips, sporting events, travel $100 and up

*Mandatory expenses; all other categories are entirely optional. Uniform expenses vary based on whether purchasing new or gently used.

IB Diploma FeesThe total additional cost of the IB diploma, which is tax deductible, is approximately $800 over two years. Tax credits offset the cost. For more information, please contact the Bursar.
