The Grammar School is now accepting applications for a brand new Junior Primary program for four year olds. We are expanding our Primary Program in September 2008 by adding a full-day Junior Primary class with daily lunch service. The Junior Primary is limited to 16 students and housed in the core of the Atlantic Street Campus in close proximity to our Library and existing Primary classes.
The Junior Primary class is part of the existing Primary Program and a key component of the existing Prep School – Junior Primary to Grade 4. Our new JP class is integrated with the existing classes in a program with an overall coordinator and a team approach to teaching and learning. We have staffed the Junior Primary with an 8 to 1 ratio, consistent with NS Community and Family Services regulations. These faculty members are ECE Specialists.
