For fifty years the Halifax Grammar School has been situated in the beautiful residential South End area of Halifax. Within walking distance of Dalhousie University and across the street from St. Mary’s University, the school today consists of two campuses: Atlantic Street, an attractively modern building with a lovely, deep and grassy recreational backyard and Tower Road, a beautifully restored historic architectural landmark, just steps away.
The Prep School (grades Junior Primary to Four) and the Senior School (Grades Ten to Twelve) are housed at our Atlantic Street Campus (ASC) at 5750 Atlantic Street.
The Middle School (Grades Five to Nine) and our administrative offices (including the Headmaster, Communications, Admissions, Finance & Facilities, and Development & Alumni Affairs) are located at our Tower Road Campus (TRC) at 945 Tower Road.

“The Halifax Grammar School has provided me with
the ideal environment for my growth, not only into a mature student, but also into a responsible citizen and community member. Words inevitably fall short of truly expressing the secure feeling of belonging to a community where you are completely supported and encouraged to thrive. ”
